SEC Power Rankings-Samantha Steele Appreciation Edition

1. Alabama

It is quite certain that Mr. Saban didn’t barbecue on his bye week.

2. South Carolina

The Gamecocks took care of business against Georgia this past weekend and vaulted to #3 in the polls. Now it’s time to show the country that they are indeed for real with this week’s showdown with LSU.

3. Florida

If Will Muschamp was the coach at UT, chances are he would have UT in conversation for the national title hunt.

4. LSU

Bayou Bengals dropped one spot to #4 after loss to Gators. Still a lot of questions that need to be answered about this team’s offensive idenity.

5. Mississippi State

Bulldogs got a much needed rest after roaring off to a 5-0 start. The question is can the good times roll with a victory over Tennessee?

6. Georgia

Bulldogs was a complete no-show against Gamecocks.

7. Texas A&M

Johnny Manziel is a gamer. Wonder what would have happened if Mike Sherman was still the coach in College Station.

8. Tennessee

Which Vol squad will show up against Mississippi State?

9. Ole Miss

Hugh Freeze caught the Mike Sherman syndrome Saturday against the Aggies.

10. Vanderbilt

Well one James Franklin got an SEC win on Saturday.

11. Arkansas

Razorbacks finally moved out of the basement. Now they have their own bedroom with a window.

12. Missouri

Tigers looked pitful against Vanderbilt.

13. Kentucky

Wildcats may have not won an SEC game, but they haven’t completely mailed it in.

14. Auburn

$180,000 wasn’t enough to pay for two quarterbacks on the Plains.
