SEC Game Balls and Gassers-Eye of the Tiger Edition

Game Balls

Tyler Bray, Tennessee

I’ve been unfairly hard on Mr. Bray at times, but in the Vols’ 38-35 loss to South Carolina, Bray had four touchdown passes and 368 yards passing.

So that counts for something.

Zach Rogers, Tennessee

Of the four touchdown passes Bray threw, three of those went to Rogers, who finished the day with 107 yards receiving.

Jarvis Jones, Georgia

In the closing minutes of the Florida-Georgia game, Jones made a game-winning play by stripping the ball from the hands of Jordan Reed to seal the win for the Bulldogs.

Kendial Lawrence, Missouri

The Missouri running back rushed for 108 yards and two scores in the Tigers 33-10 win over the Kentucky Wildcats.

Jadevon Clowney, South Carolina

One of the most talented players on defense in the SEC, Clowney forced a turnover that sealed the win for the Gamecocks over Tennessee.

Gassers

Lou Holtz

Holtz on Saturday said that the only reason why Gene Chizik should keep his job is because he runs a clean program.

What the hell does Holtz know about clean programs?

Auburn

I was on the fence regarding Mr. Chizik.

But after seeing what happened on the Plains Saturday I’ve come to realize that this team has quit on him.
